On September 3, CHAO Yongqiang, Director of High Education Division of Qingdao Municipal Bureau for Education, together with his delegation, was invited to pay a visit to Tsinghua (Qingdao) Academy of Arts and Science Innovation Research (TASA). He investigated the park construction and had a deep understanding of the operation mechanism and development concept of TASA. During the visit, Director CHAO Yongqiang learned about the overall construction of TASA and the functional layout of each building, and was deeply impressed by the cultural heritage of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University (AADTHU) and the architectural design concept of TASA. He said that TASA will build a platform with the talent and disciplinary advantages of Tsinghua University, set up a complete design-driven chain that integrates industries, universities and research institutes, and actively guide resources to connect with Qingdao universities, which will effectively promote the development of the Industry-University-Institute Cooperation Alliance.

After the tour of the Park, Director CHAO Yongqiang and his delegation had a discussion with the construction preparatory team of TASA in the transit office building on matters such as school-local government cooperation. Director LIU Weidong said that the state and universities are paying more and more attention to the innovation and entrepreneurship of university students, and TASA shall spare no effort to invest resources and manpower to cooperate with Hisense and other local well-known enterprises to build a center for the innovation and entrepreneurship of university students, so that students can participate in the industrial chain and get in real touch with the market and products, thus forming the tripartite channel of industries, schools and research institutions to help cultivate talents in universities.
